- Permanent full-time position
- 8.5 days per fortnight
- Weekly salary of $1172.50 to $1349.10 (including allowances) +11% superannuation with your choice of fund
- Annual salary increase as per the Local Government (State) Award

The opportunity
This position would suit a carpenter, concreter, formwork carpenter or someone with similar construction experience.
In this role you will be involved in the construction and maintenance of the Council's infrastructure, such as bridges, culverts, boardwalks and various concrete and timber structures.
Your key responsibilities are, but not limited to:
- Construct formwork
- Install siltation control prior to and during works
- Repair recreation facilities such as barbecues, seats and tables
- Install and repair concrete boat ramps
- Construct retaining structures
- Construct and repair kerb and gutter, footpaths and drainage systems
- Carry out repairs in accordance with industry standard
