Exam Supervisors

Ballarat Clarendon College

Ballarat Clarendon College is seeking applications for multiple Exam Supervisor roles.

Chief Supervisors and Supervisors are responsible for supervising the examinations under conditions set by the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA) and ensure that examinations take place in accordance with VCAA requirements.

Supervisors report to and operate under the general direction of the VCE Coordinator and Head of School Support Services.

Ballarat Clarendon College is a co-educational school associated with the Uniting Church. It is based in Ballarat, a regional city in the heart of Victoria, just over an hour's drive from Melbourne. Approximately 1,800 students attend the school from 3-year-old Early Learning to Year 12.

Role tasks and responsibilities

  • To support with the organisation of the Senior School internal and external examinations.
  • To support with the set-up and day-to-day operation of examination venues (Internal/VCE) and to be on site for all examinations.
  • To ensure the fair and proper conduct of examinations in an environment that enables students to perform at their best.

Supervisors that are successful in joining the Clarendon team are excellent team players and confident communicators that are fully committed to the school and its community.

Knowledge, skill and qualification requirement:

  • Capacity to work with students and staff
  • Demonstrated commitment to Child Safety
  • Personal sense of initiative and enthusiasm
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills when liaising with students and staff
  • Current Working with Children (Employer Category).

The successful applicant may be required to demonstrate competencies throughout the selection process that may include scenario-based assessment.
