We are seeking two passionate Leading Worker - Grader Operations to join our team. About your role:

As a Leading Worker - Grader Operations, you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing our grader operations, contributing to the ongoing maintenance and construction of our road network. Leading a dedicated crew, operating cutting-edge equipment, and ensuring the safety and quality of our roadways will be at the heart of your responsibilities. With a 9-day fortnight schedule, you'll have the flexibility to maintain a healthy work-life balance, with opportunities for overtime available through our after-hours on-call roster.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and inspire your team to achieve project goals efficiently and effectively
• Operate state-of-the-art graders with precision and skill, maintaining optimal road surfaces
• Undertake re-sheeting and road construction projects with attention to detail and quality
• Maintain plant equipment to ensure reliability and longevity
• Collaborate with stakeholders and contractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in grader operations and road construction/maintenance
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team
• Technical proficiency in equipment maintenance and operation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to safety and quality standards
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when required.
