Supervisor Horticulture Operations

  • Two RDO's (Rostered Day Off) per month
  • Salary: EBA Level 4.1 ($80,980.47+Super)

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to provide hands on leadership to staff employed within our Horticulture Services team and carries with it an opportunity to positively impact the community.

Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Engage in the supervision of not less than 2 and not more than 15 employees.
  • Develop and implement team and individual coaching and development opportunities.
  • Act as incident control for any incidents and escalate to the regional General Manager and/or work health safety department.
  • Ensure that services delivered are effective, efficient, customer focused, and consistent with GMCT's strategic objectives.
  • Resource allocation and scheduling

To be successful in this position you will require:

  • Cert III Successful Strategies for Team Leaders and Supervisors (Leadership Management Australia -LMA)
  • A relevant qualification in operations or other discipline with significant experience with team supervision (minimum 5 years), or an equivalent combination of training and/or experience.
  • Knowledge of the construction/earthmoving field
  • Experience in works planning, prioritising, and delegation of works.
  • Demonstrated ability to undertake analysis, generate report on information and provide recommendations.
  • Certificate III or diploma in horticulture or equivalent.
