• Salary package commencing at $ 76,678 (inclusive of superannuation and leave loading)

The Role:

As the Administration Officer - Community Services, you will be responsible for the administration of MacDonnell Regional Council's Youth Services and Community Safety services. You will work in collaboration with Managers from both departments to plan, schedule and monitor programmes. You will prepare and collate reports and correspondence for funding bodies, Local Authorities and Councils alongside acting as a point of contact for general inquiries.

To be successful, you will ideally hold or be working towards Certificate III in a related discipline or Business Administration and similar experience within an administration role in an office environment.

This is a short-term, temporary position for an approximate of 4 - 6 months (with potential to extend) to provide support for a period of Parental Leave.

About MacDonnell Regional Council:

This position will be based in our Alice Springs Office, which is the regional headquarters to councils' 13 remote communities and outstation locations. The MacDonnell region is located in the centre of Australia.
