Position Objective:

As the Team Leader School Nutrition Program (SNP), you will be responsible for supervising the staff to work within the School Nutrition Program standards and follow the procedures adequately in accordance with relevant legislation, Council policies and procedures. You will also run the daily operations of the SNP kitchen including preparation and meal delivery and work collaboratively with the Aged care team and management to promote healthy community workshops and tasks around nutrition as required.

This is a Full-time, Fixed term contract aligned with the funding period.

Location:

This position will be based in either Utju (Areyonga) or Ntaria (Hermannsburg) as necessary for operational requirements.

Salary:

Salary package commencing at $76,678 per annum (negotiable based on qualifications and experience) inclusive of superannuation 11% and leave loading 17.5%

Role Requirements:

The successful candidate will ideally have or working towards the Certificate III in a related discipline or experience in a similar role with a keen interest in learning about Aboriginal culture and hold a current C Class drivers Licence and a 4WD Certificate. The ideal candidate will also have a high level of communication skills and ability to foster collaborative frameworks with community stakeholders, including training and mentoring staff with different levels of literacy and numeracy.
