Village Glen, one of the largest and most well-appointed retirement communities on the Mornington Peninsula, is seeking an RN to join the team.

Recent expansion of our service has led to a rare opportunity for an RN to join our team of experienced nurses, in a full-time role, looking after 800 residents in our thriving retirement village in Capel Sound. We pride ourselves in providing excellent care to our independent living residents in the beautiful, vibrant community which is the Village Glen. This role is an additional resource to the current service being provided to Village residents.

  • A great and unique work environment
  • Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
  • A friendly team
  • A family owned and operated business.
  • A flexible working arrangement. Immediate start
  • Free Parking
  • Staff discounts and CJs and Clubhouse Cafe

Your priority at Village Glen is to respond to an emergency call system, as well as providing non-emergency care in our state-of-the-art clinic, and in the community setting.

Key responsibilities of the position are:

  • Attending emergency call system alerts as the highest priority
  • Deliver care and services to all residents of the retirement village.
  • Assist in providing non-emergency care in our state-of-the-art clinic, and in the community setting.

Key requirements are:

  • Adherence to Workplace safety guidelines.
  • Current driver's license.
  • RN qualification with at least 3 years post registration experience.
  • Community or emergency experience highly regarded.

You will enjoy the stability of regular weekday hours rather than an ever-changing roster, but still have the ability to swap within our supportive team for those unavoidable occasions that arise

What's on offer

In exchange for your hard work, you will be well rewarded with a competitive take home pay, educational opportunities, and access to our full support at every turn.

You will enjoy the stability of full-time hours - and most of all, you will appreciate joining one of Victoria's leading retirement communities.
