Hume City Council has an exciting opportunity for a highly-motivated, innovative and experienced communications professional to join our dynamic Strategic Communications department.

As Internal Communications Advisor you'll establish relationships across the organisation and develop and execute critical internal communications that have an impact.

You'll be a champion for the big picture, working closely with stakeholders to gain a deep understanding of their challenges and support critical projects that protect and enhance our reputation with the community and enable people to work more effectively together.

A strong writer with a critical eye for detail, you'll thrive in a complex and fast-moving environment, and stay calm under pressure while juggling multiple projects and tight deadlines.

With your flair for internal engagement, you will create innovative ways to involve, inform and facilitate opportunities for all employees that will add value to decision-making, protect the organisational culture and lead to the best outcomes for Hume City Council.

You'll also form a strong partnership with the Coordinator, Internal Communications to support the tactical execution of Council's annual strategic internal communications plan.
