As Mid-Western Region continues to grow and prosper at a steady rate, Council currently employs over 400 people and now have an exciting opportunity for a Casual Child Development Officer to join the team.
This role provides continuous and professional support and guidance to our educators and families in care whilst promoting this quality child care option across Mudgee and surrounding areas.
You should hold a Diploma or higher-level education in early childhood, community services or social science (child services) and have a minimum of 12 months experience working in an early childhood field, and a current First Aid Certificate.
The ability to work autonomously and as a member of a team whilst maintaining confidentiality is paramount. Excellent oral and written skills, together with demonstrated record keeping and computer skills are necessary.
Please note that a current Working with Children Check is required before employment can be offered to the preferred candidate.
We offer a salary range of $40.14-$45.18 gross per hour including casual loading, (based on skills, qualifications and experience) plus superannuation.
