Council has an exciting opportunity for a Risk Officer to join our People and Performance team. The role is full-time, working an average of 70 hours per fortnight with one Rostered Day Off every 4 weeks.

In this new position you will work closely with the WHS Coordinator and other relevant stakeholders to drive a proactive risk management culture and lead the continuous improvement of Council's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.

You should hold a tertiary qualification in risk management (or related discipline or equivalent industry experience) and have a comprehensive knowledge of enterprise risk management principles and practices.

Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to undertake risk audits and formulate recommendations and controls is essential.

We offer a salary range of $2801-$3152 gross per fortnight (based on skills, qualifications and experience) plus superannuation.
