About the Role

ALPA has fast-forwarded our finance system with the introduction of the latest ERP Microsoft 365 for Finance and Operations. We have on offer an exciting role as Finance Manager, in which not only will you play a significant part in managing the scheduled and critical tasks of your Finance Team; you will also be expanding your skills, knowledge and experience by leading and managing your team through post ERP implementation and new innovative ideas. We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager who is CA or CPA qualified with a minimum of 5-7 years' experience.

Your other responsibilities will be:

  • Support your team in finance duties while you learn the business complexities
  • Manage the preparation of board reporting, budget, forecasts, and variance reporting for the divisions
  • Assist with financial management of divisions
  • Day-to-day financial analysis & reporting of divisions
  • Build partnerships within the business
  • Create innovative idea's to improve process efficiencies
  • Assist with projects as required
  • Liaison and interface with senior management & various stakeholders
  • Contribute to the team's business plan and support a strong collaborative team culture

About You:

  • Strong working knowledge of accounting standards, best practice and demonstrated ability to meet tight time frames and effectively manage work flows
  • Advanced analytical and problem solving skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Proven people management and leadership skills and experience - committed to developing team members
  • Skill in analysing, developing, reengineering, and recommending financial policies and procedures
  • Proven record of success working in a fast changing environment. while improving processes
  • You will have strong knowledge, skills & experience in continuous improvement in particular changes in ERP systems
