We are also developing new business approaches, new services and new ways of communicating with our internal and external stakeholders.The RoleAs the Marketing and Communications Coordinator, you will support the Marketing and Communications Manager to execute strategies and campaigns to raise awareness and breakdown the stigma around mental illness. Your strong writing skills will be crucial to supporting One Door's campaigns using a variety of channels including online, social, printed materials, events and media relations. You will also support internal communications activities. Using your excellent attention to detail you will provide support in organising events, continually review and update our website, develop marketing material, maintain and update social media platforms.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their career to roll up their sleeves, hit the ground running and get generalist experience across a wide variety of marketing and communications functions in a strong, high-performing team.What you can bring to the roleTo succeed in this role you will have 2 - 3 years' experience working in a Marketing, Public Relations and/or Communications role. A qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g. Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or Journalism) is essential. Demonstrated understanding of organisational social media, event management and reviewing marketing material are required.An understanding of mental illness and working in a healthcare organisation will be advantageous.This is a very exciting time at One Door to evolve and lead change in the mental health world! As a medium sized player we need to be clever and focussed in our communications.About this role:This is a new role so it provides the opportunity to build it from the ground up. Broadly it encompasses communication through digital media (50%), communication through print media (30%) and communication for fundraising (20%).About what you'll need to succeed:We are looking for a confident communicator with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills with at least 2 years demonstrably successful experience in a similar role.
